Terry Connolly

Terry Connolly is the OAKDALE BEARS Boys Basketball Coach. Following a great high school playing career at Gov. Thomas Johnson (in which the Patriots won two State Championships 85’-86’), Coach Connolly continued his playing career at The University of Richmond. He captained two NCAA tournament teams that played Duke, Syracuse, and Temple in "The Big Dance." Coach Connolly briefly played in the World Basketball League for the Youngstown Pride. After leaving the league, he then spent four seasons at GTJHS as an assistant coach. Coach Connolly was the Boys Varsity Basketball Coach at Urbana High School for 16 years. His team finished Conference Champions in 2006, 2007, and 2010. In 2010, Urbana was also the 4A North Regional Champion with a berth to the State Championship Final Four. In November 2010, Coach Connolly became the first Boys Varsity Basketball Coach at Oakdale High School.

The Bears were Conference Champions in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2017.  The Bears have been the #1 team in Frederick, MD ranked by the Frederick News Post in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2017. The Bears were also the 2A West Regional Champions. In 2013, the Bears advanced to the MD State Semifinals. In 2014, the Bears advanced to the MD State Final game in which they became the 1st boys’ basketball team to compete for a State Championship from Frederick, MD since 1999.

Rob Healy

Rob Healy started his coaching career in PA, at Slippery Rock High School as an assistant with the Girls Varsity basketball team for three years. From 2004-2008 he was the Urbana girls assistant coach and from 2008-2010 he was the Wootton HS Girls JV Head Basketball Coach. In 2010, Coach Healy became the first Girls Varsity Basketball Coach at Oakdale High School. During the 2014-15 season, Coach Healy has established the girls basketball program as one of the top ranked team in Frederick County. In the 2014-2015 season, the Bears won Conference Championship, 2A West Regional Championship, and finished the season as the 2A Maryland State Finalist.
Chris Krivos

Chris Krivos coached High School Basketball for 21 years, 4 at Thomas Johnson and 17 at Urbana, before becoming the Oakdale Athletic Director. His Hawk teams finished as league champions 13 times and regional champions 6 times. He established the local FORCE AAU Girls Basketball Club and has had two basketball articles published in AT THE BUZZER and WINNING HOOPS.
